Our correspondents are made up of interesting people with beautiful, raw, human stories. They cover the gamut of emotions, perfect for a long read on a Saturday morning with coffee or tea (and a crumpet???).

The harvest ritual.

Every month at a specified date (it’s a secret!) they submit their letters. We read them, edit them for grammar, if they choose, we type them on a 1956 Remington typewriter. We print risograph copies on beautiful paper, package them, throw a wax seal on them and route them through the appropriate gazer.

Coming Home.

You get a gorgeous envelope with up to 3 letters from strangers you will come to know and love, on luxurious paper, with smudge-able ink. Savor them. Someone sat down and thought for a considerable amount of time on something they wanted the world to read. You.

A couple of my does gave birth this week. And while I'm trying to come up with names I can't stop thinking about how far away AI is from my life. And yet, all I hear on the news is that it's coming for our jobs. How can it come for me out here? I think about this a lot.
